The Company:
Knutsen Maskin a.s, in it's present form, was established after
a fision in 1987. But, the company's tradition as a dealer of cranes,
machinery, and belonging activities including service and spare
parts, goes back to 1947. The handling of used equipment and exporting
products is a natural part of the activities of Knutsen Maskin a.s.
The company relocated in April 2006 to Jessheim, a few minutes drive from Oslo Airport Gardermoen.

Business concept
The concept of our business is to supply the Norwegian market with
Tadano Faun mobile cranes, Atlas construction machines, Fantuzzi
Reggiane trucks and harbourcranes, Hammelmann og Oertzen high-pressure
pumps, as well as Wylie Systems load- and weight measure indicators.
Products:
Since 1970, we have been representing Japanese Tadano and their
Terrain- and Long Chassis Cranes. When Tadano bought German FAUN
in 1990, we could expand our product range to include All Terrain
Cranes, a technology that gains more and more shares from the expanding
crane market. Tadano Faun represents the best technology from 'two
worlds'.
Knutsen Maskin AS is the Norwegian dealer of Terex Construction Equipment. We offer the entire bran of Terex Excavators, Compact Equipment and Articulated and Rigid Dumper Trucks.
Knutsen Maskin AS is norwegian representative for SVETRUCK. The Swedish manufacturer of large forklifts and loglifts choose to cooperate with us. We are Service representatives in Norway for repairs and spareparts.
Fantuzzi Reggiane trucks and harbour cranes are also represented
at Knutsen Maskin AS. These italian qualityproducts can contribute
to flexible and easy handling of larger goods at t.ex. harbours
and freight terminals. Fantuzzi's containertrucks og sideloaders,
and Reggianes harbour cranes can be supplied in many models and
sizes. This also includes Noell Straddle Carriers.
Hammelmann high pressure (water) pumps is a side-branch of our business.
We have been representing this german manufacturer since 1967. Their
products are directed towards shipping and shipyards. Today, when
3000 bar technique is available, paint can be demolished more effectively
than when using sand. Concrete demolishing usen high pressure water
is high-efficient. Enviroment is a keyword for this product.
In addition to Hammelmann, we also have Oertzen high pressure pumps
and cleaningsystems based on both hot and cold water. The pumps
can be delivered with pressures from 170 - 1.000 bar.
For the safety of crane operations, we have since the 1970's delivered
Wylie Systems load indicators and weight meseaurment systems for
cranes and machines with variable lifting abilities and working
radius. Wylie Systems is a stabil and well known English manufacturer,
delivering their products to many crane manufacturers all over the
world.
We are also the Norwegian dealer of MOEVE driver's seats which are
ergometric shaped and can be supplied with 3 and 4 points attatchment
of safetybelts. The productrange is wide and we offer solutions
for almost every demand.
